Howard Young

Howard Allen Young writes from a place few willingly describe, and fewer truly understand. His life story includes success, loss, poor judgment, and the long process of rebuilding character after incarceration reshaped his understanding of freedom.

During his years inside the prison system, Howard observed how environment, mindset, and unresolved trauma influence behavior. He also witnessed how education, structure, and personal accountability can become lifelines when embraced honestly. These experiences inform both his writing and his public message.

Howard does not position himself as a motivational figure. Instead, he presents himself as someone who learned lessons the hard way and feels responsible for sharing them. His goal is to reduce harm by addressing reality—how crime affects victims, families, and entire communities, and how denial only deepens damage.

Today, Howard advocates for crime prevention, rehabilitation, and informed decision-making. He believes change requires discipline, consistency, and a willingness to confront uncomfortable truths. Through his writing and outreach, he challenges people to examine their choices before consequences make reflection unavoidable.

His work stands as proof that growth is possible, but never effortless, that redemption begins with responsibility, not excuses.
