About The Author

Howard Young

Howard Allen Young is the author of DUBBED: The “Green Mile” Burglar of Silicon Valley, a memoir shaped by lived experience rather than theory. His writing is rooted in accountability, reflection, and the belief that truth is the foundation of real change.

Howard’s life includes arrest, trial, years of incarceration, and the difficult internal work that follows confinement. Instead of distancing himself from that past, he examines it directly, using his experiences to educate others about the consequences of poor decisions and the realities of the criminal justice system.

Today, Howard’s focus is prevention, rehabilitation, and honest conversation. He speaks to individuals, families, and communities about crime awareness, personal responsibility, and the importance of choosing direction before consequences make that choice for you.

His work is not about seeking sympathy or rewriting history. It is about using truth to interrupt cycles of harm and offering a realistic perspective on redemption, discipline, and personal growth. Howard writes and speaks for those willing to confront uncomfortable realities, and for anyone determined to build a future that looks nothing like their past.
